The Story:
I grew up about 20 minutes away from Nottoway. There, I attended the beautiful weddings of family and friends, ate some fantastic food, and learned a bit of history on field trips. So when I decided to start making Louisiana themed paintings, Nottoway seemed like a natural choice. This watercolor painting was made in January of 2023. In May of 2025, I sat in front of a screen and cried as I watched it go down in flames. She was a beauty and meant so much to so many people. In my mind, she'll always been standing tall, and she'll live forever in my art.
Fine art print. Made with thick, archival, acid-free paper and fade-resistant pigment inks. The print's finish is matte and borderless.
Each print is made to order and hand signed. Frame is not included. Shipped to your door or pick up locally in Brusly, LA.
Sizes larger than 12x16" are produced "out-of-house" by professional printing service. Your print will ship directly to you from their warehouse. Their turnaround to create and ship is roughly a week after the order is placed.
