"Magnolia Sprawl" Horizontal Print

The Story:
Every year in May, the southern magnolia trees in Louisiana put on a show. Almost overnight it seems, they are covered in huge beautiful blooms. The area where I live really took the whole "magnolias are Louisiana's state flower" thing to heart, because these trees are everywhere. In the front yard of homes, in landscaping around businesses, and every corner of the Walmart parking lot. It's hard not to feel inspired when that time of year comes around.
I'd just bought new brushes and a whole lot of new paint when I decided to make this painting. It was fun seeing how many different shades of green I could come up with. My favorite blossom is the one at the bottom left, in side-view. My mom ripped it off of a parking lot tree (not saying which one) and brought it to me to paint from.
Fine art print. Made with thick, archival, acid-free paper and fade-resistant pigment inks. The print's finish is matte and borderless. The original artwork was painted on canvas, and texture is visible in all prints. It becomes more prominent in larger sized prints.
Each print is made to order and hand signed. Frame is not included. Shipped to your door or pick up locally in Brusly, LA.
Sizes larger than 12x16" are produced "out-of-house" by professional printing service. Your print will ship directly to you from their warehouse. Their turnaround to create and ship is roughly a week after the order is placed.
